David and Sarah, a couple from the UK, love both cats and movies. So it was only a matter of time before they combined the two with pretty epic results.
They started an Instagram account called @moviecats, where they post pictures of themselves and their cats photoshopped into classic movie scenes, and it’s just about as great as it sounds.
“We host a pub quiz every few weeks, so we started doing it for the film/TV round, and we enjoyed it so much we decided to keep doing it as a regular quiz question,” the couple said.
“The cats clearly think we’re weird, but they get loads of treats doing it which tends to be their main focus.”
The stars of the show are felines Willow and Tara.
The humans simply bow to them, take the photos and then use photoshop to put together the finished products.
“We’re going to keep making them,” the couple said. “It’s a hilarious way to spend a Sunday!”
